Poster Podium Presentation

Poster Project Submission

This year, the Midwest Planning Committee is revising the poster submission format. Posters will not be displayed during the conference.  Instead, the poster projects will be presented during the conference in the main lecture hall.

There will be six 8-minute presentations in the one-hour time slot.  The format will be the same for all presentations (Background, Research Question, Research methodology, Results, Discussion, Impact to patients/pain research, References).

Submissions are now open.

The Judging Poster Committee, consisting of 3 individuals from the Planning Committee, will select the 6 presentations and will utilize the following criteria:

  1. Importance of study/project/intervention
  2. Sound methodology and appropriate statistical analysis, if applicable
  3. Impact and applicability to the field of pain
  4. Contribution to the field (novel ideas or methods, unique approach, overall quality of findings)

Poster projects can be original research, quality Improvement, or case presentation.
